Itautec’s social activities have included it, for the third year running, in the ‘Good Corporate Citizenship Guide’ promoted by Exame magazine. The 2004 project was the “Focus on Computers” activity – a data processing course voluntarily taught by employees to teenagers in the São Paulo Cristo Rei daycare nursery.
Child Friendly Company
Due to employee activities on behalf of children, their commitment to fight child labor, and all in favor of education, health, civil rights and social investment in the welfare of children adolescents, Itautec was recognized as a Child Friendly Company in December of 2004.
Premio Balanço Social [Social Deed Award]
Itautec won the 2005 Premio Balanço Social – North Category. This is the fourth edition of this award in which there were 166 competing companies. The award is a recognition of Itautec’s effort in strengthening the principles of social responsibility, practiced on a daily basis, governed by ethical competition, the improvement of the quality of life inside and outside the Company, the practice of voluntary and citizenship work and the adoption of non-aggressive environmental / environmentally friendly technologies, leading to sustainable development.
